IN MEMORIAM OF SAM NEILL

It is with great sadness that we farewell our friend and colleague Sam Neill, who passed away today. 

We were privileged to work with Sam, a brilliant performer loved by fans worldwide and an all-round beautiful human being, for three seasons of THE TWELVE, where he played the lead role of Brett Colby QC. It was to be his last TV performance.

Colby was a highly sought​after defence barrister who could charm both witnesses and the jury with his smarts and roguish sense of humour, but he could also be cunning and occasionally manipulative in extracting key evidence on behalf of his client. Sam was delighted in playing Colby in all his facets, and he brought great integrity, empathy, and poise to his performance. He was much loved by cast and crew and will be deeply missed by all of us at Easy Tiger and the industry in general. Our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones.  

A remarkable talent, and somehow, an even more remarkable man.
